We Three Kings...in the kitchen!
The first magi brought gifts...we're making the Three Kings' Cake! Stir it up right, and the baby Jesus is baked into the middle somwhere. Yes, that sounds funny, but it is fun finding out who will be the lucky one to find him!

The adoration of the Magi...
So, originally the magi probably arrived sometime between Jesus' first and second birthday...but in our creche, they come on January 6th. Here they come!

And upon entering the house...
they knelt and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Calling out the names!
They followed a star to find Jesus, but we eat a star shaped cake to find him! In the French tradition, the littlest goes under the table and calls out names of who gets the next piece of cake to be cut. That way, no one knows who gets what piece. Get to it, Luke!

Luke found him in his piece! He's the King!
