The Dove House
The people of St. Michael's let us stay in their parish house for the duration of our time together. This house was consecrated by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, as a home for the sisters of St. Michael's parish. It was the nicest accomodations in Khayelitsha, and they wanted us to experience it as their guests.

Rain on Gugulethu
This is Gugulethu. It is an adjoining township where the Mannenberg incident occured. Gugulethu is Xhosa for "precious", and is also Father Ningi's first name.

Gugs' barbershop
This is one of the many businesses that are set up in shipping crates or corrugated tin houses in Khayelitsha. It happens to be Father Ningi's barber shop! We stopped in to get a hair cut!
